The Faux Hawk Craze!!

The Faux Hawk is here... Say good bye to the braid fade, the fades with the drawn in waves, the all even haircut with the part or weird designs...now it is all about the faux haux.

Over the last three months I have been bombarded on the train, street, bus, shopping mall, grocery store, club and gym with random men walking around proud with these pre-fabricated fashionable faux hawk. Let's analyze this shall we.

Now I once had a friend by the name of Sam. Sam was a young Anglo male who was into the punk rock scene pretty heavy. Although Sam was the rebellious punk rock type, he was always very cheerful and would educate me on what it was like being a punk and how many people had made fun of him for sporting a mohawk. This had to be like 2002. Looking back, I was proud to say that Sam was very bold for wearing this Mohawk regardless of what many people thought of him. Now I look back and realize that these same people who made fun of Sam back in the day are now walking around with Faux Hawk.

The only difference is there's is a pre-fabricated mohawk, the main difference is that with a Faux Hawk you do not completely shave the sides bald, like a mohawk you just tailor your sides into a way that fashionably reflects a mohawk.

So if you see someone, know someone or have a Faux Hawk I would like to call you out and say BE ORIGINAL. You probably had braids back in the day too didn't you?
