1) Live in the present. Forget about the past and plan for the future.
2) Fight fair. See point one about the present. Remember the fight is rarely about
what is being discussed. There is always another agenda. Conflict is inevitable, deal with it.
3) Be a man not a boy child. Have principals and live by them. Say what you mean
and mean what you say. Negotiations are important after you have stated your position.
4) You are never always right or always wrong.
5) Sex is important for her as well as you. Never stop learning and exploring.
6) Keep her guessing about your intentions. Don't be predictable.
7) Have your own life and pleasures that you can share. Conversely, don't do everything together.
8) If you have kids, it is a life time responsibility. No excuses.
9) "I do" means forever, it is a mental state. Don't go back on your word.
There is always a solution to every problem, don't quit until you get it right.
10) Marriage is not easy but it is worth it. Work on it then work on it some more.
11) You can only change yourself. Choose wisely.
12) Money matters only in one respect: you are either a saver or a spender.
Your spouse need to match or you are doomed.
