Jim Jones is one of my favourite mentor's. First of all, he represents the underdog. He started out as Cam'ron's hype man, roadie and silent business partner. He took the time to learn the business and eventually started directing all the Diplomat related music videos including his own. He parlayed this into a 3 year stint at Warner Music Group as an Senior A & R. He is currently on tour with his Pray IV Reign album which was released on March 24,2009. One of my favourite qualities about Jim Jones is that he does things his way and has a relentless business ethic which breeds results. He has the persona of a true hustler and makes his money regardless of the obstacle(s) that may face him. He has been known to be an asshole, however at the end of the day he gets the job done and continuously looks good doing it.
